This guide handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just right before Thotar provides a taming Rod for the Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar provides you with a series of 3 taming rods, every one is different and allows you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and finally an Armored Scorpid.

After getting finished the taming Element of the Quest chain, you must head to navigate here Orgrimmar and speak to Ormak Grimshot while in the Valley of Honor to be able to unlock your companion pet handling skills: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.
